Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Synthfy's AI virtual receptionist service. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Permitted Use
Synthfy is designed for legitimate business communication purposes. You may use the Service to: answer incoming business calls with AI assistance, capture caller information and lead details, schedule appointments on behalf of your business, provide business information to callers such as hours and services offered, and receive notifications about calls and leads.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Synthfy to: make or facilitate unsolicited robocalls or spam calls, impersonate government agencies or law enforcement or emergency services, conduct fraudulent or deceptive activities, harass or threaten or abuse callers, violate any applicable telecommunications laws or regulations, transmit illegal or harmful content through the AI system, attempt to bypass usage limits or manipulate billing, use the service for any purpose that violates federal or state law, collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers or financial account details through the AI without proper authorization, or resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
4. AI Interaction Guidelines
When configuring your AI receptionist, you must: provide accurate business information, not instruct the AI to make false claims or misrepresentations, ensure your AI greeting clearly identifies it as an automated system, not configure the AI to collect sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for your business operations, and comply with all applicable disclosure requirements for AI-assisted communications.
5. Telephony Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Synthfy complies with: the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, state-specific telecommunications laws, Do Not Call (DNC) registry requirements, and any industry-specific regulations applicable to your business.
6. Usage Limits
Each plan has defined limits for calls and minutes. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary service suspension until the next billing cycle or an upgrade to a higher plan. Systematic attempts to circumvent usage limits through multiple accounts or other means are prohibited.
7. Content Standards
All content provided to or generated through the Service must not: contain hate speech or discriminatory language, promote illegal activities, include explicit or adult content, violate intellectual property rights of third parties, or contain malicious code or attempts to exploit the AI system.
8. Enforcement
Synthfy reserves the right to: monitor usage patterns for compliance with this AUP, suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, report illegal activities to appropriate authorities, modify this AUP at any time with notice to users, and cooperate with law enforcement investigations when required by law. Violations will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and we may issue warnings before taking enforcement action for minor infractions.
9. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to support@synthfy.us. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
